Registered Massage Therapy:
It's not a luxury, it's a necessity
All of our massage therapists are Registered Massage Therapists with the College of Massage Therapists of BC
Massage therapy is recognized as one of the oldest methods of healing, with references in medical texts nearly 4000 years old. Modern massage has come a long way, and is often referred to as bodywork or somatic therapy, which is the application of various techniques to the muscular structure and soft tissues of the body that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, vibration, rocking, friction, kneading and compression using primarily the hands, although massage therapists do use other areas of the body, such as the forearms or elbows. All of the techniques are used for the benefit of the muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, and other systems of the body. In fact, in addition to addressing specific complaints, massage therapy positively influences the overall health and well-being of the client.
Our therapists are registered massage therapists (RMTs) which means they are skilled and highly trained to provide the best in massage therapy.
